Under the name Oosterhorn Green Hydrogen, Eurus Energy Europe is developing an installation to generate green hydrogen at the Delfzijl chemical park. This electrolyser splits water into oxygen and hydrogen, after which the hydrogen is used as a raw material in the chemical industry or as a sustainable fuel.
In future energy systems, supply of renewable energy and conversion to other energy carriers such as hydrogen will be increasingly interlinked. Eurus focuses on local links between wind and solar farms with electrolysis plants. In doing so, our projects strengthen the local economy and relieve the electricity grid as much as possible.
By realising several projects of 10 – 50 MW scale in the near future, Eurus is making a tangible contribution to the growth of the hydrogen economy in Europe.
